Main text: If one were to name the first dark horse to emerge in the entertainment industry in 2020, it would unquestionably be Cheng Guo.
借着《爱情公寓5》的“好风”借力的成果，在关谷、悠悠缺席，陈赫请不起只能特别出演的情况下，横空出世，凭借诸葛大力迅速出圈，深受直男喜爱。她的爆红，首先是源自于诸葛大力的爆红。
Catching the favorable breeze of iPartment 5, Cheng Guo burst onto the scene amidst the absence of Guan Gu and You You, and when Chen He could only appear in a guest role because they could not afford to hire him for more. Through the role of Zhuge Dali, she rapidly broke out into mainstream visibility and became immensely adored by straight men. Moreover, the excessive marketing orchestrated by Cheng Guo’s team to sustain her heat generated a suffocating sense of information overload. Why do people detest young male idols? Precisely because of the oppressive saturation created by hyper-commercialized traffic. When you open Bilibili looking for entertaining videos and every refresh pushes updates about a certain traffic star, even if you were initially indifferent, you grow resentful: Why is he, she, or it everywhere I look! This was another factor behind the backlash triggered by Cheng Guo’s fame.
除了《爱5》没有其他任何影响力作品的成果，红得有些名不符实，也是令人反感的因素之一。说到底，演员是要有作品的，而且成果在《爱5》中的演技真的有待磨炼和提高（三人中她的演技是最差的，让人再一次不得不感叹长得好看就是可以为所欲为），她的爆红，是沾了她的气质形象和剧中人物高度贴合的光，她遇到了适合自己的角色。
