夜晚的剧场灯火辉煌，一声声流畅而动听的朗诵声从中悠然飘出，连贯的动作和深情的朗诵声一同组合成一幅幅精彩的画面。很难想象，这离我们第一次踏上舞台练习，只有一天。
The theater glowed brilliantly at night. Smooth and moving recitations drifted gently through the air. Coordinated movements combined with emotional voices to form scene after wonderful scene. It was difficult to imagine that only one day had passed since the first time we stepped onto the stage to rehearse.
JY是我们“重回汉唐”节目的总负责人，他和我一样，在接到要在一天时间内完成整个节目排演的任务时也是大吃一惊，但我从他坚毅的眼神中读出了信心。
JY was the general director of our “Return to the Han and Tang” program. Like me, he was shocked when he learned that the entire performance had to be rehearsed and completed within a single day. Yet in his determined eyes, I could see confidence.
一个下午的排练后，我们早已身心俱疲，恨不得早点休息，而JY却一个人留在剧场和老师一同商量着进退场、灯光布置等事宜。而晚上六点，当我们慢悠悠地走进剧场时，他已经在其中等候多时了。
After an entire afternoon of rehearsal, the rest of us were physically and mentally exhausted and wanted nothing more than to rest. JY, however, remained alone in the theater, discussing entrances, exits, lighting arrangements, and other details with the teacher. At six o’clock that evening, when we slowly wandered back into the theater, he had already been waiting there for quite some time.
“大家快点，我们马上开始！”JY大声说道。
“Everyone, hurry up! We’re starting again!” JY shouted.
“要这么拼命吗？下午不刚练了好久吗？”一些同学抱怨道。看见没有老师，便始终不乐意好好排练，有些人还自顾自玩起了篮球。
“Do we really have to work this hard? Didn’t we just rehearse for ages this afternoon?” some students complained. Seeing that there was no teacher present, they were reluctant to rehearse properly. Some even began playing basketball on their own. At that moment, JY strode toward us. Contrary to what I expected, he did not shout at us. Instead, he patiently tried to persuade everyone:
这时，JY大步向我们走过来，与我想得恰恰相反，他并没有大声呵斥我们，而是苦口婆心地规劝道：“篮球现在能先不玩吗？我们真的没有什么时间了，请大家为团队多尽一份力，我们现在再来练一遍站位，好吗？”
“Can we stop playing basketball for now? We really don’t have much time left. Please contribute a little more for the sake of the team. Can we rehearse the positions one more time?” Perhaps moved by JY’s sincerity, everyone lowered their heads one by one and began seriously doing what they were supposed to do. Throughout the evening, as the overall director, he constantly ran back and forth between the stage and backstage.
或许是被JY真诚的话语打动了，大家一个个都低下了头，认真去做自己的事了。
Everything required his coordination, from minor matters such as costumes and props to major issues such as lighting and stage positions. Yet he never complained. Instead, he used his intelligence to improve the performance and tried to make everything perfect.
整个晚上，作为节目总负责人，他台前台后都要来回跑，小到服装道具，大到灯光走位，一切都需要他协调，可他毫无怨言，用他的智慧为节目增光添彩，将节目做到完美。有一次，他为了一个灯光的效果，竟反复调试了八次。正是因为他这样对团队做出巨大奉献，才完成了这几乎不可能的奇迹。
Once, in pursuit of a particular lighting effect, he adjusted and tested it no fewer than eight times. It was precisely because of his enormous dedication to the team that we managed to accomplish what had seemed almost impossible. When the program was recorded the following day, even I was astonished by how perfect the performance looked.
当第二天节目录制时，完美的表演让我自己都大吃一惊。井然有序的上场，深情款款的朗诵，耀眼的灯光，无不在歌颂着JY的无私奉献。当那耀眼的灯光打在我的身上时，我满心是对JY无私奉献的敬佩与感谢。如果没有他，就不会有这璀璨的灯光效果；如果没有他，更不会有今天如此完美的表演。
The orderly entrances, the heartfelt recitation, the dazzling lights—every element seemed to sing the praises of JY’s selfless dedication. When that dazzling light fell upon me, my heart was filled with admiration and gratitude for him. Without him, there would never have been such brilliant lighting.
那天夜晚，窗外明月皎洁，似乎在为一群意气风发的少年喝彩；我知道，它更是在为中华传统美德——奉献，能在“重回汉唐”的节目中重现而喝彩。
Without him, there certainly would never have been such a perfect performance. That night, the moon outside the window shone brightly, as though applauding a group of high-spirited young people. I knew that, even more than that, it was applauding the reappearance of a traditional Chinese virtue—dedication—in our “Return to the Han and Tang” performance.
我真想大声对他说：“JY，谢谢你，你的奉献让我敬佩！”
I truly wanted to shout to him: “JY, thank you. Your dedication commands my admiration!”
