威海刘公岛位于山东半岛最东端的威海湾内。它地理位置十分优越，是我国海洋经济发展的重要战略资源，被誉为中国北方最美的海岛之一，是中国海洋经济的战略资源之一。刘公岛不仅有着广阔的海域和丰富的海洋资源，而且还是北洋海防的前沿基地之一，具有重要的战略地位。
Liugong Island lies in Weihai Bay at the easternmost tip of the Shandong Peninsula. Its excellent geographical position makes it an important strategic resource for the development of China’s marine economy, and it is known as one of the most beautiful islands in northern China. In addition to broad waters and abundant marine resources, it was one of the forward bases of the Beiyang coastal defenses and held an important strategic position.

Liugong Island witnessed the tragic heroism of the First Sino-Japanese War of 1894–1895. As we walked around the island and listened to the guide recount that history, a powerful sense of national pride and responsibility welled within us. Remembering history as our mirror, youth of the new era must elevate their comprehensive competencies to contribute to national rejuvenation.

Through the patriotic educational field study at Liugong Island, we gained a deeper understanding of this beautiful island’s significance. With the theme “Youth Turned to the Party, Achieving Merit in the New Era,” we used the field study to remember history and contribute to national rejuvenation, further strengthening our patriotic feeling, carrying forward the Communist Party of China’s fine traditions, and reinforcing our aspiration, integrity, and confidence as Chinese people. Through practical action, we sought to interpret our original aspiration and mission and demonstrate our ability and responsibility.
一、怀古崇德，传承红色基因 I. Honoring the Past, Cultivating Virtue, and Inheriting Red Genes

We know that when young people dream, the motherland dreams; when they work, the nation grows prosperous and strong; when they struggle, the nation is rejuvenated; and when they strive, the people flourish. At revolutionary heritage sites, we remembered history, gained a deep understanding of the decisive significance of the “Two Establishes,” strengthened the “Four Consciousnesses,” and upheld the “Four Confidences.” We used Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to shape our convictions and education, continually improved our overall qualities and abilities, and strove tirelessly for the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.

Our youth, like the ramparts of Liugong Island, stands guard over history’s trials and triumphs. On Liugong Island, we learned the spirit of striving for the country, the nation, and the people. Independence Shapes Intellect: Due to parents’ demanding schedules, I boarded during middle school to foster autonomy. Because my parents were busy with work and had little time to attend to my studies, they had me board in middle school to cultivate independence. Somewhat influenced by Chen Yinke’s creed of “independent spirit and free thought,” I agreed gladly and began six years of boarding through middle and high school. Those years made me less dependent: I began planning my studies and solving everyday problems on my own. More importantly, independent living improved how I thought about learning and taught me the independence, depth, order, and logic of the learning process, greatly benefiting my growth.

My skill grew and I won many awards; I was later selected to represent Wujiang at the second Yangtze Delta “Jiangnan Famous Towns Cup” Youth Go Tournament, where the team placed first. In ninth grade, I longed to attend Suzhou High School. Despite a climate of intense competition, I had never attended any tutoring class for academic subjects. Relying on a refusal to concede defeat and several reference books borrowed from classmates, I taught myself olympiad mathematics and other material, and was ultimately fortunate to gain admission to Suzhou High School’s Kuang Yaming Experimental Class.

12、寒假社会实践SFM热点调研团队综合报道 Comprehensive Report on Winter Vacation Social Practice: The Wandering Earth Survey
为全面宣传学习党的二十大精神，深层次挖掘国产科幻电影中传递出的时代创新精神以及文化软实力的提升，1月23日至31日，山东大学（威海）基于科幻电影《流浪地球》，结合广泛社会调研，从科幻影视行业发展现状、科幻电影的社会影响力、科幻电影行业需要改进的问题等角度探究科幻影视的发展策略。
To publicize and study the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress comprehensively, and to explore in depth the innovative spirit of the age and growth in cultural soft power conveyed by domestic science fiction films, from January 23 to 31, Shandong University (Weihai) conducted broad social research based on The Wandering Earth, investigating industry development, societal impact, and future strategies.
调研前期，调研团队成员制作了一份线上问卷调查表，包括对于《流浪地球》的看法，对于电影中各类科技（如相控阵等）了解多少等十五个问题，成功探索线上和线下相结合的实践模式。此外，组员通过文献调研、典例学习、小组讨论等活动，详细了解科幻电影相关的背景资料，对行业现状进行充分调研准备。
Preparatory Phase: The team designed a 15-question survey addressing audience reception and familiarity with featured technologies (such as phased-array systems), successfully exploring a practical model that combined online and offline work. Members also used literature research, case studies, and group discussions to understand the background of science fiction films in detail and prepare a full investigation of the industry’s current state.
调研中期，调研团队成员以二维码的形式将调查问卷发布在朋友圈，五天后调研组成员对问卷结果进行了统计。调查显示观看过流浪地球且对中国目前的科幻作品有一定了解的人数约占50%，且大部分集中在18岁到30岁人群。大家对《流浪地球》评价普遍很高，并对《流浪地球 2》抱有很高期望。总结问卷结果，社会面广泛表示虽然以《流浪地球》为代表的国产科幻影视对比欧美大片大制作还有一定距离，但已取得了显著进步。
Field Survey Phase: Team members posted the questionnaire as a QR code on their WeChat Moments and compiled the results five days later. About 50% of respondents had watched The Wandering Earth and had some knowledge of current Chinese science fiction, with most of this group aged 18 to 30. Respondents generally rated the film highly and had high expectations for The Wandering Earth 2. Overall, the public believed that domestic science fiction film and television, represented by The Wandering Earth, still lagged behind large European and American productions, but had already made significant progress.
调研后期，团队成员进行了线上和线下采访以进一步听取社会各界对科幻影视的想法与建议。团队成员认真设计了活动流程和采访问题，并与受访人取得联系，在15、16两日于内蒙古自治区呼伦贝尔市进行线下实地采访，成功收获丰富的社会面第一手资料。
Follow-up Interviews: Team members conducted online and offline interviews to hear further views and suggestions from different parts of society. They carefully designed the procedure and questions and contacted interviewees, then carried out in-person field interviews in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, on January 15 and 16, obtaining abundant firsthand social material.
通过询问受访者对于当今科幻影视的看法，以及探讨科幻电影的发展趋势和科幻电影在国内的发展前景，我们了解到，大家认为国内科幻电影发展的主要问题在于知名度不足，影响力不够，不能吸引大量观众，也就不能创造良好的经济效益，从而制约了中国科幻影视的发展。但随着《流浪地球》的成功，《三体》等重量级科幻IP影视化，中国科幻影视正蒸蒸日上。
By asking interviewees about contemporary science fiction film and television, its development trends, and its prospects in China, the team learned that respondents saw the main problems facing domestic science fiction films as insufficient recognition and influence. Without attracting large audiences, the films could not generate strong economic returns, constraining the industry’s development. With the success of The Wandering Earth and the adaptation of major science fiction properties such as The Three-Body Problem, however, Chinese science fiction film and television is flourishing.
对于科幻电影对于社会和科技的影响，大部分观众认为在观看科幻影视时并没有太注意其中的科幻科技细节，只是被宏大的特效和独特的想象所吸引，但并不否认科幻电影能够成为科技发展可以尝试的途径。
Regarding the effects of science fiction films on society and technology, most viewers said they had not paid much attention to the scientific and technological details while watching, but had simply been attracted by grand visual effects and distinctive imagination. They nevertheless did not deny that science fiction film can suggest avenues worth trying in technological development.
最后，团队总结本次社会实践经验，创造性提出宣传面增加科普力度、融合生活题材以提升大众对科幻IP接纳度等建设性建议，本次实践圆满结束。
Concluding the project, the team formulated constructive proposals: bolstering scientific popularization and integrating relatable everyday narratives to elevate public resonance with science fiction.
本次实践活动旨在了解当今科幻影视的发展成果与问题以及其对于社会的影响，促进广大市民接触科幻作品，了解科幻作品，助力科幻产业发展。团队始终深入思考科幻影视在新时代下的创新发力点，充分发扬山大学子崇实求新的优良作风，希冀在知行合一的道路上实现专业本领的新突破。
This social practice aimed to understand the achievements and problems of contemporary science fiction film and television and its effects on society, encourage the public to encounter and understand science fiction works, and support the industry’s development. Throughout, the team considered where science fiction film and television could direct innovative effort in the new era, carried forward Shandong University students’ fine tradition of seeking truth and innovation, and hoped to make new breakthroughs in professional ability by uniting knowledge and action.
