2020年二更。两年过去了，奥拉星的百度指数只有当年全盛时的十分之一了，我来回忆一下几年前我的奥拉经历吧。
2020 update. Two years have passed, and Aola Star’s Baidu Index is now only one-tenth of what it was at its peak. Let me look back on my experience with Aola Star several years ago.
第一次玩奥拉星还是四年级，那是一个小学生没有什么娱乐活动，只有一台台式电脑的时候，第一次遇见还是雷神托尔时代，众神之神阿波罗刚刚降世，那时的王者还是奇灵王，每个领地还有一个守护者，捕捉球带来了极佳的“生存体验”，当时看到蓝宝石大佬有翅膀能飞就极为羡慕。富有对战感与养成感的游戏体验，让我当时就种草了这款游戏，并向同学极力推广。
I first played Aola Star in fourth grade. At the time, elementary school students did not have many forms of entertainment, and all I had was a desktop computer. I first encountered the game during the era of Thor, God of Thunder, when Apollo, God of Gods, had only just descended and the reigning king was still Qiling King. Every territory still had its own guardian, while capture balls created an excellent sense of “survival.” I remember envying the Blue Sapphire VIP players enormously because they had wings and could fly. The game’s rich sense of combat and character development immediately hooked me, and I enthusiastically recommended it to my classmates.
众所周知，一个游戏的社交性是极为重要的，而奥拉星就恰恰满足了小学生的需要。到了五年级全班已有将近十人玩此游戏，于是在虚荣心和游戏体验的诱惑下，我充了人生第一次钱，买了年费上古星龙。
As everyone knows, the social aspect of a game is extremely important, and Aola Star happened to satisfy the needs of elementary school students perfectly. By fifth grade, nearly ten people in my class were already playing it. Tempted by vanity and the gaming experience, I spent money on a game for the first time in my life and bought the annual-premium Ancient Star Dragon.
2015年是奥拉星发展的第四个年头，这一年超系横空出世，直接把前三年的体系完全摧毁。可以说那时奥拉星已有今日操作的感觉，但我以为这是我飞黄腾达的好机会，没错，接下来的一年半时间，直到我小学毕业，我成为了一个深度奥拉迷，前前后后充了有两千块吧，最辉煌的是2016年5月，我的账号战力来到了全球排行榜的前500名，这大概可以吹一辈子了吧！
2015 was the fourth year of Aola Star’s development. That year, the Super-type system suddenly arrived and completely destroyed the systems built up over the previous three years. In a sense, Aola Star already began to resemble the way it operates today. But at the time I thought this was my opportunity to rise rapidly. And indeed, for the next year and a half, until I graduated from elementary school, I became a hardcore Aola fan. Altogether, I probably spent around 2,000 yuan. My greatest moment came in May 2016, when my account’s combat power entered the global top 500. I suppose that is something I can brag about for the rest of my life!
但这也是强弩之末了，想要把战力进一步提高就不仅仅是2000块了，大概是每星期200元才可维持！再加上我上了初中，离开了家，就与奥拉星说了再见。
But by then I had already reached the end of what I could sustain. Raising my combat power any further would have required far more than 2,000 yuan—it would probably have taken around 200 yuan every week just to maintain my position! On top of that, I entered middle school and left home, so I said goodbye to Aola Star.
再见奥拉，奥拉已成为一个更新换代n次的割韭菜的游戏了，突然有些庆幸，我用微薄的代价换来了整整两年同学的敬仰和游戏体验，但现在老玩家回归还是算了吧。不必纠结于过往，把美好的回忆留在过去，昂起头向前吧！
Farewell, Aola. Aola has become a game that endlessly replaces its systems again and again while harvesting money from its players. Looking back, I suddenly feel somewhat fortunate. For a relatively small price, I received two full years of admiration from my classmates and a genuinely enjoyable gaming experience. But as for old players returning now—forget it. There is no need to cling to the past. Leave those beautiful memories where they belong, hold your head high, and move forward.
2020.7.31十周年更新，原来现在亚比的血线已经到60000了，唉这个数据突破是不是预示着奥拉星的落幕？其实，如果十周年正式停服，也是一个难忘的回忆了……
July 31, 2020, the tenth-anniversary update: apparently Aola creatures now have HP values as high as 60,000. Sigh… does this numerical inflation foreshadow the end of Aola Star? In truth, if the game were officially shut down on its tenth anniversary, that too would become an unforgettable memory…
